PCT Regulations

Definition:

OG

Definition:
Official Gazette - weekly publication of the USPTO that includes regular and special notices of the Office.

CD

Definition:
A type of form designation such as Form CD435, meaning a Commerce Department form.

Claim

Definition:
The definition of the monopoly rights that the applicant is trying to obtain for the invention.

Plant Patent

Definition:
May be granted to anyone who invents or discovers and asexually reproduces any distinct and new variety of plant.

Design Patent

Definition:

State of the art computer workstations provide automated searching of patents issued from 1790 to the current week of issue. Full document text may be searched on U.S. patents issued since 1971 and OCR text from 1920 to 1970. U.S. patent images from 1790 to the present may be retrieved for viewing or printing. Some foreign patent documents are available.
